Top 4 are all me, #5 is racka. 36 hour rule won't stop me, I have over 10 names with that much usage. Of course those names wouldn't be top 4 if the rating system worked correctly.

They wouldnt be top 4 if you didnt blatantly team anyone that had a higher rating than you either

elim ratings are blatantly messed up, i've been playing elim messing around on an alias and this is my rating, check the K : D, how is my rating so low? Note, I've been playing against all kinds of levels of players from some of the best to the worst...

MMaverick, I have found the exact reason why the ranking system is messed up. Please contact me in game and I can help you fix it. It has to do with using int for the AVE instead of a double. It is a quick fix really. Please message me in game asap.

Its messed up I guess but I think wins do matter...

I think I'm ranked like #15 with like 280 rating or something like that...

the old rating 280 was terrible... now it seems decent... im so confused with it though since I have no idea what matters now

With the help of Lock / LockDown I've applied a fix to the elim bots. A small test round revealed that the average was rising for the winners again (not much because everyone has a low rating and average).

Please let me know if this solves the problem after which I can fix the problem more by changing the database and continue purging the records for a complete restart.

I did some tests in elim and the AVE is indeed going up when killing people with higher Ratings. This means what we did works! Now all thats left is to implement the plus/minus system foreign developed.

I don't think you don't need a plus/minus system when it takes 500 kills/deaths to be ranked

PS. please change it back to 500 when the records get reset

Agreed.

I think you need the +/- because if you go 10-0 to start out and then someone kills you their ave will jump really high. With the +/- it assumes your rating is the lowest it can be there.
