I miss base too, but every game I play is usually lopsided. TWBD games are usually pretty fun and playing go base is usually like playing pub, hardly competitive, and hardly fun. The only way base is ever going to revive itself is if you start with what schope has requested, and if more of the better players stop by more often. Usually when there is enough competition on people usually just find a BD instead of go base...I don't blame them.

Maybe base died because elim is active or maybe elim is more active because the new cap system killed base. Change the cap system back and ban javs too.

base used to come from death to life after those auto-advertisements when zone was full.

now you try to spam, some ppl come stay for a while and leave and nothing happends.

with auto-adds if 16 of us were willing to play but waiting on spec for elims or pub they would come immediately after the anouncement

I agree, the bot may not advertise as much as it previously did. This is caused because the base game is never killed if the game is failing to start. The new bots that are going to host base will most probably solve this issue.

Elim activity increased when the stats started to be tracked again. I believe a similar stat/ranking system for ?go base will also increase its activity

Go base will stay dead until people learn to go afk/chat in the arena, or actually wait in there until there is enough to play. Stop going to private arenas to talk, afk, etc etc.

Also there needs to be a timer on claiming captain, if after a certain amount of time noone claimed cap, why shouldnt someone who captained in the game before be able to get it?
