This is a good idea. I see alot of people in pub, especially warbirds who dont base they just fly around shooting each other. Im pretty sure they would love the concept of squad vs squad wbing instead of flying around pub. I wish i had this chance when i started playing this game instead of learning how to play from stuck up "pros" who i own today gg.

Its hard to recruit pubbers. Many of them are determined on saying no, so it takes lotta asking over and over again until they join. But, once they do they're probably some of the loyalest ppl ever. They wont bitch about inactivity (cuz they dont really care) and are pretty happy when they get Twd games.

I'm looking for someone to captain this squad. I'm am more than willing to teach, interact, and help inspire these players, but I am unable to play with them. The members don't need ace players to play with, just the ability to play in these games and be taught how to team, etc.

Is anyone, without wishes to be part of TWL, able to take lead on this squad?

I believe I have it as well, but with me sticking to Paladen, I don't see the squad itself happening. I'm going to talk to other squads who are currently around and see if they will allow me to find new players for them to join their squads and be a part of. TW School seems like it's asking a bit too much seeing as I have no one to cap it. I will give anyone who wishes to go forward with this idea the squad name if they'd like it, but unless I can get that one person to cap this squad, I'm sticking to finding the new players and sending them to squads who are willing to accept them.

Im not sure what goes on their minds...I was giving them a great opportunity.

So...in other words..I was there rdy to give them all i my knowledge about the game and spend my time to help them. And they would just...give a shit about it... show no interess,etc...

Believe it or not, some people who play this game don't give a shit about TWD/TWL or squads period. Those tend to be the people you label as "new" or "newbie" because they enjoy public arenas. They play the game casually so they might not see you inviting them to a squad as a "great opportunity". They see it as some random person trying to get players for a squad that they don't give a shit about.

That's not to say that this isn't a good thing though. Just the attitude you have towards those players is based on not realizing that some people really don't care that much about this game.

I completely agree with you. I am doing my best to advertise that this is out there for the ones who wish to get more out of this game. I have been attempting to contact the people in pub that look like they might be new and confused and informing about all this game can offer. I also send them to Devest because HTF is doing a great job of helping the community with new players in his squad.
