Stop being so serious. Its a video game.

And in the future, set a ?logbuffer auto command to start a log everytime you load the game... :P

PO probably looked at his tinfo and it looked good. He's asked me to reconnect when my roommate is on netflix and my lag goes from 90-300

If PO had specced epic it would have just been Epic creating this thread instead of Mattey with the title "I LIVE IN BRAZIL SO NOW I CAN'T PLAY THIS GAME" and his squad threatening to quit because of staffs terrible abusing.

I have never liked the fact that staff is banning people for using ?help or ?cheater calls a couple of times. I can understand if a player gets banned for using ?help or ?cheater calls way too much (such as over 15 times in 2 minutes, just calling staff utter shit and not even trying to get anyone to help him/her), but other than that, no.

    Now back to the topic:

I was playing in the same TWBD game as you were, Mattey. I saw Epic Li eating a bunch and spiking a lot on my screen (just as you described). I am not sure how PureOwnage could say that "his lag is fine, don't cry" when his lag was nothing but fine. That's why I came to the conclusion that PureOwnage is either one (or all) of these..

#1: Terrible at this game. He couldn't even recognize a laggot if one flew past him eating 20 bullets and 3 bombs.
#2: He's a friend of Epic Li and does not want to make him reconnect / spec. Favoritism, basically.
#3: He hates you and wants you banned.

If I had been the one that took the help (or cheater) call, then I would told Epic Li to just reconnect and see if that helps. If it wouldn't have helped, then just try to find a substitute for him. His lag was not *OK* in that game.

post scriptum: I am probably the last person that should complain about people lagging, as I seem to get reported for "cheating, lagging & eating" more than anyone else when I am playing a simple JD.

post post scriptum: Ruining my chances to get mod with this post. M_M God going to axe me anyways!

    :fear:

For the record, I didn't want Epic Li banned, just specced. I wish there was another witness to just how bad he was lagging. I sent 3 help calls right after he spiked through the cram. That is when pureownage showed up. I had already sent a help call about every 2 or 3 minutes since the match started. When I saw that the only way to get a response was to spam help, what was I left to think!?

For the double record, I don't care if someone manipulates lag or not, but if they are spiking 100ms every second, they shouldn't be allowed to play in matches.

I never complain about high ms, because I know that works both ways, but spiking? That is a clear one-sided advantage. Whether it is achieved by living in Brazil or downloading an awesome movie like Dr. Strangelove, it shouldn't be allowed in a league match (TWD is a league you fucks).

please do, tired of basing and their shitty lag anyways....

basing is full of cheating fucks that just get excuse after excuse from staff

ever wonder why all the brazilian WBs can control their lag these days, and yet the brazilian basers can't? does that make sense? Oh... I'm sure playing a different league makes all the difference to your fucking modem, right?

Brookus shut the fuck up and learn your squaddie cheated. If you wanna threaten twbd from dissolving because staff want to stop cheating, then go fuck yourself. Who cares about basing anyway? That league has been dead for quite a long time now. As it stands, anyone with over 10 games and a win percentage above 0 can get into TWLB, so you tell me if that league even fucking matters now.

Because twlb is the most fun I have in any video game besides Smash Bros. And nobody plays smash bros. anymore... actually nobody's going to play this game soon, either.

Yea, like stark pointed out, ?log your chat. Without a log or screenshot you can't prove anything, it will just be your word against the staffer's word.

Once setup, it works really well. (Read the Readme file!)
Wish I knew about this when I played. Then I wouldn't have to manually cut/paste stuff into new log files and rename the dates myself.
