It doesn't, you just have to get used to it. I own you in jav and I'm on a laptop so gg.

It does when the whole home/end/delete/pgup/pgdn key are all in one vertical row far off that you can't reach it in time.
If I just played jav then sure I can play defaults, but since I seem to mostly shark and terr, switching to a single key for commands and placing them in a more comfortable position makes playing convenient.

Left analog stick to move
A = boost
B = burst
Y = set portal
X = anti
right bumper = shoot
right trigger = map
left bumper = warp
left trigger = attach
start/select = multi, i never use it tho so i forgot, i should start practicing shooting with both multi on and off
dpad macros
right analog stick to scroll through user list
right analog stick click for stats

Just plug a wired Xbox360 controller into your computer. It should prompt something to install the drivers and then you can use it.
