    Alright..

    Mega Newbie's Tips

Today im gonna show a method on how to escape in a 1 vs 5, 1 vs 4, or any situation alike.

You know.. there are 2 options when you are in a situation like that. Or you suicide.... Or you can try to run, escape, get safe, and kill one by one.
Of course that second option sounds more interesting.

The problem thought, is how to get away from the enemies. I mean.. they are all hunting you.

Why people die in a 1 vs 5? They die because there are walls.

Walls?Yep.. walls... I will explain better.

If the twdd was infinite, just like the real space is teorically, you could run forever, right?
I mean, the players would try to hunt you, but you would run forever in the same direction...
eventually, they would get tired and give up of hunting you.

This doesnt happen in twdd. Because there are Walls. TWDD map has limits, its a rectangle. You cant run forever. U can be happy and run for some time, but eventually the hapiness of your face is going to turn into sadness....you will find a wall in front of you, and you will have to face your enemies. This is where your death comes. That's how people die in 1 vs 5.

Now.. lets ilustrate what I just said..

How many times you've been in that situation?? A lot, hum???
    And what happens next??

    This, then:

Yep... Yep... "ferrou" means like "im fucked"

Yep.. Yep... This is what happens... this is how you die in 1 v 5. this is how everyone dies when a corner is in the way.

You -> Nooooooooooooooooo... Noooooooooo What do i do mega newbie??? what do i do, my master?? What do i do , huge dick guy??? I dont want to die!! whats your advice?????

    Calm down.

This situation is so common, but so common, that people just got used to it. I mean... Their brains automatically do the job for them. Thats where we can get advantage from.
Maybe people will get aware of this since i'm turning it public, but i used and abused this tactic, which bring to me many victories. Just look:

We play on a rectangle - This game has a problem. If it was perfect and fair, everyone would play on a circle screen. Because then you could see , no matter witch direction, the same distances.

It doesnt happen on the rectangle screen witch we all play in. So, when defending yourself, try putting the enemy on one of your diagonals, and when attacking, attack the enemy from the sides, or even better, from up or down.

Hmmmmm, I will continue... another day... kisses.

    Mega Newbie's Tips

    - Rock kill - Have you ever been in a situation like this?

The enemy is hiding behind a rock. In this case, Nervoso FAB is making a mistake. Why?
Well, If you are fast enough, you can kill him at his ass before he can get away or do a 180 degrees to kill you.

So, whenever you see an enemy on this situation, remember this and kill him! Just caution to not get too excited and miss the shot or hit the rock instead.

Also, remember, if you hide behind a rock, never place ur ship that way.

    - Positioning -

The image explain itself. The good players stay at the corner of the teaming, and the newbies, at the middle. It is simple to understand why. Look at the newbie. Everyone can fire at him, he is an easy target. And he cant try an agressive attack or else he is going to get owned.

Now look at the Elite player. He isnt an easy target for everyone. He is actually a hard target for some of the players. Also, he can try an agressive attack, and still escape alive.

So, always stay at these positions when teaming.Your chances of playing well get way bigger.

4 - "The First Shot" - at the start of the game, many people use shift to find faster the enemy at the start of the game. DON'T do that. Why are you going to do that? I mean, your allies arent in danger , they are together with you, you dont need to hurry to find the enemy. If you use shift, you are going to lose your energy, adn when you find the enemy, you will get too close to him, and he will notice you and maybe even kill you. You lost an opportunity.

My advice is, at the start of the game, (twdd, 1v1's, whatever) you need to go at the maximum velocity (without thrusting), so your bullet can be as faster as possible, and aim at the same direction whenever you are going to (bcz that's the biggest probability where the enemy will appear) and fire right after you see the enemy appear on ur radar. If you do that, you will have a great chance of killing the enemy. It's a dangerous radar shot. I call it.. "the first shot"

5 - spawn - Spawning is bad for the good player. I mean, if this game was all about spawn, teorically everyone would go 10-10. Is that what the good player want? No. First avoid spawns by avoiding going to the spawn area, however, if its invevitable, try dodging before spawning. most people try to fire, and not to dodge. Dodging is much better. Also, if you "reborn" on a inevitable situation and is about to getting spawned, try warping.

Enough tips from my part, tired of writing. Kisses.

3 - Do you know how thrusting works? I will explain how. You can thrust by holding shift + up
or shift + down or shift + up + down)

one of these conditions must be happening for you to be able to thrust. By knowing this, you can do whatever you want with ur ship. The maximum ship thrusting control is when you use thrust and at the same time constantly spin your ship on a straight line. You can do that by switching the keys at the correctly moment this way: shift+up, shift+up+down, shift+down, shift+down+up, shift+up, etc...

Practice this and you will dominate your ship control.

1 - Never forget to use antiwarp. I know this advice may sound dumb, but it is impressive the amount of players that still dont use antiwarp. there are GREAT players that still don't use antiwarp. I remember I was in twl vs -final- , playing for dice, and i warped in the corner of the map, against 4 of their players ( considered the "best" players witch im not gonna say the names here), and my warping was essential to the victory of 50-48.To see if the enemy has antiwarp activated or not, use a little of energy and press the warp button, if the enemy was no anti, it will say you have not enough energy to warp, else, it will say witch player has antiwarp. I owned many 1v1's by warping for noticing that the enemy had no anti.

2 - Do you know where exactly the bullets goes on your radar? I know.Go make a test with a friend. You need to have an idea of where 8 basic shots goes. there are 4 basic shots (up,down, left, right) and the other 4 basic diagonals ones (they all go exactly at the corner of the radar, but not on the screen). Make ur brain get used to these bullets, and your radar shots are going to get better. By practing this, you will eventually know where exactly every shot goes on the radar, by just using simple logic.

Thrust shot - When I'm rushing I hold down shift (thrust) then less than second later I hold down ctrl (shoot) and then release shift when I have enough energy to shoot.
this is especially handy in javelins if you change the mine button to something else. the difference isn't so great in wbs, it's almost unnoticable. i believe the game thinks you're trying to rep (in javelin it says 'too many mines') and won't fire a shot if you have the shift+ctrl combo for them, even if you can't.

the real thrustshots are still in ufc, and the difference between those and this are worlds apart. but it's still one of the few good tip's for anyone.

Thrust shot - When I'm rushing I hold down shift (thrust) then less than second later I hold down ctrl (shoot) and then release shift when I have enough energy to shoot.
To get extra pace on a shot, I find it useful to not be facing the enemy and just before I shoot I quick turn my ship to the enemy and release shift. This confuses the player because they don't see me aiming at them.
Dodging - Always face side on to the enemies gun, that way you can dodge up or down because if you don't and your facing head on, you can't dodge the bullet.
When I'm trying to dodge a rush with no energy, I face side on and hold down shift and move up and down whilst turning slightly to confuse the player.
Ship control - I found that mastering the arena ?go balance helped with my ship control. It helps me when I'm rushing or being rushed, it's easier to skip passed rocks; this helps to preserve energy whilst the opponent goes the long way around.
Aiming - I practice my aiming by shooting rocks in a private arena. Just fly around aiming at rocks, it's really that simple.
Radaring - Constantly be on the move and be aware of who shot first and which blue dot will have the energy to shoot again. I always find that aiming for rocks close to the enemy gets a few kills.
Mid-Range - Use the dodging technique i explained before, always face side-on when recharging. Also when mid-ranging use the thrust shot technique i explained earlier but just go forward a tiny bit and release shift.

That's all I can think of so far, but if you have any questions on my game play, feel free to ask and I'll try and help you.
