Why can't we have a tourny other than ?go tourny that involves 2v2 play. I know we have TWEL which is 1v1, but I have no interest at all in solo dueling. I like having a teammate next to me when I play. Whether it's this game or some PS3 co-op play. You got TWL for squads, TWEL for singles, how about some doubles? Don't feel like typing anymore, just lost to Izor in a BD. Share thoughts if you're interested in this.

I made a thread about making a 2v2 or 3v3 league of some sort and most people liked the idea of a 2v2/3v3 league (or adding a point scaling system to twd games based on # of players and adding the 3v3 option).

Its been asked over and over again but they dont seem to care.
I would even be happy with just having 2vs2 JD/DD that didnt effect rating/stats etc, if it would be less work than starting up something new... Although I think it would be best to just modify tourny or something like that.Comment

But in ?go tourny you can play 2v2.. And not in a "baseelim type arena". Because if you vote 2v2 warbirds you are put in the twd type arena.
And stats are kept at http://www.trenchwars.org/twt/ . So basically it's the same as a league, just that tourny isn't very crowded mostly. But then instead of setting up yet another league we can better spend our time on improving tournaments' reputation. No?TW Web Developer

What I meant by baseelim type arena was, people come and go and play randomly and usually don't try because no one checks the stats and there isn't a good ladder or anything of the sort. Which is how ?go tourny is.

we could probably do a 'Tourny Playoffs' at the end of a season (however long) of ?go tourny. have players sign-up and pick a partner (?) then start playoffsComment

Wasn't there a link that has tourny stats? I remember seeing something about tourny where it showed your win% with certain players. Can use that to set up matches.
