New pub money system

is one of the best things to happen to pub lately.


it hasnt even been finished yet, or even halfway, and it has already:

• removed the over 9000 idiot javs
• combined purepub and regular pub
• killed aliasing (or lose money)
• given people a reason to come back
• given people something to work for
• given people to come to fr instead of sitting in spawn (for more money)
• provided a way to stop pub from becoming 95% wb in spawn

some things coming to the system:

• more money for high bounty
• $5 for flag claims

you know its good, because not only do 90% of the people in pub give it good reviews, and the whiners like kthx are already whining on the first day about it.

the great part is that people that dont like it can go to pub 1 instead of pub 0, just like the people who didnt like no levs in pub 0 did.

Like 2 of those comments you posted are actually positive. The others aren't.... at all. The fact that you had to pick those to use for your "evidence" tells me theres really not a lot of it.

That and the fact that I've been speccing pub for 15 minutes listening to all the negative comments.

Worst idea ever.
The gameplay is totally different than it used to be.
Non of the ships as actually to do something with the TWDs now.
This way we wont have players going from pub into TWD.
And if new players enter this zone they really wanna go into this chaotic world of getting money and spending it. Pub should be easy to learn etc.

devs (dexter) work hard on this stuff and coding it takes days. If you're gonna complain about it, why not try to phrase your feelings so that they are a bit constructive rather than just bursting out general statements of displeasure, like "Worst idea ever."

Other than that I enjoy it but there is still plenty to work out. One thing I've noticed is that you still gain money from TKing.

Apart from all the cool toys and crap.. you have ultimately removed two utmost interesting points about tw pub.

1. LEVIS? God, haven't you noticed that basing league is about to die + the arena ?go base IS already dead. Where do people prac and learn basing when most of the deaths are coming from those garbage levterring idiots that camp around and 30593fer whole flagroom. Where is skill in it? What newbie gets from playing in a levi? How fun is to die from a ship you can do almost nothing against? Also, why is pub 0 and pub 1 allowing this idiot garbage ship into gameplay? Let us base somewhere, for fucks sake.
