You guys are getting nonstop criticism from players, because you deserve it. It isn't trash talk. It is the truth. Whether or not the truth hurts is completely beyond the point. The large majority of players in this day and age are completely disgusted, disappointed, and disrespectful of the current group of staff, and it isn't our faults for that. It is your own. There are plenty of good staff members... there really are... but there are SO MANY bad staff members, so many TERRIBLE hires, so many problems within staff, that it completely overshadows any and all good work you guys do. This is completely your own faults. Fix yourselves, because this zone isn't exactly a rising commodity full of potential. This game is on its last legs, and the current group of staff just seems to speed up the problems.
So... lemme ask again... why does every staff related thread get deleted or closed within a day or two? Why do you all try to censor the forums of any criticism staff rightly deserves? Not all staff members are bad individually, but staff as a whole is so fucked up that few of us even care to name the good ones. If you can't handle criticism, then don't take a public service job. Grow a pair and suck it up. Do a better job, fix all your problems within staff, then help fix our dying zone... or accept all the criticism you rightfully deserve.
I'm not even naming names here. I don't really care. I view staff as a whole, because it is a group of players. You guys need to get better communication, learn how to work together, learn how to make people DO their jobs, and stop leaning on like 5 specific staff members to do EVERYTHING in this zone while the rest of you sit on your hands and pretend. Also, stop making so many terrible hires if you don't want to get blamed for them. Do you guys vote for new hires? If so, then I really believe the problems lie far deeper than any of the "new" hires you guys get, because for you all to be that stupid to vote in some of these guys... there shows a real lack of brain cells. Get your shit together guys. I have never seen so many complaints about bad an entire group of staff is in the 10+ years I've played this game. I understand the Ghost Ship era was pretty fucking bad too... but that sounded more like one guy instead of an entire group. I've never seen so many complaints from so many different players... so... there is obviously a lot of truth there. You guys really need to get your shit together.
Stop making excuses and blaming players for all your problems. We will criticize you as long as we play this game if you are doing things wrong. You don't even have a zone to play if we get so disgusted that we all leave. You can then pretend you are special all by yourselves I guess. You guys are players too, and if not... why the fuck are you staff? If you don't play this game anymore, then you have no business trying to run it either. That being said, do you guys honestly enjoy the direction this game has gone? Would you honestly say it is better than it was 5 years ago when most of you weren't staff?
