Well I honestly don't agree with TW heading this direction (very strongly against it) I can somewhat understand the reasoning behind it but we are walking a really really dangerous path from turning TW from a free zone to a zone where you can "buy" your way to being a good player with money just like in the other 5000000 mmo's out there with "money shops".

Since it looks like it is going forward anyways though, the very least you could do is give people a chance to earn free TW dollars without having to spend any money (like every other mmo does). Top 5 players in pub get 20000(15k for second, 10k for third each week, top 3 pub squads have their players get 5k(4k for 2nd 3k for 3rd) each week they are in the top 3. Have weekend event winners get 25k.

Basically if you are going down the road where you can buy shit like this you might as well use the "carrot" to lead the players to play in big events. For a staff that won't let people post porn on the forums because some people might not be 18 you are sorta assuming that most the people that play are 18 and have credit cards to buy tw points.

Pressure Drop I think you're too stupid to realize it's 'Donate to help' and not 'Pay to play'. People are helping out the zone in a huge way and you're mad? These cash events spike a lot of interest in the zone and keep this game alive. Just look at yesterday, the jav event had over 100+ people for the WHOLE 2 hours. Tres' deathmatch had over 100+ on a friday night.

The spacebux reward is a small bonus. So people are able to shoot some extra thors, it's not a big deal. Let them have some fun, they just helped out the zone. Donating to the game isn't helping anybody get better at subspace or helping them win TWL, it's helping the zone stay alive. Stop crying and say thanks you faggot

I dunno, PD has some valid points about this donation to the game. I was more a pub person and not a league guy (TWD or TWL) in my latter yrs playing, so this in itself would have made me lose interest and delete the game quicker than I did without this.

If I personally could not spare any extra money to help the game and yet still play only to then be killed and abused by those that do pay and donate (noting a small window of play time to some that do play)using the example of Xog, it would most likely put me off and rid the game of yet another person that possibly could have attracted some friends and or others to play and give TW a chance and broaden the audience.

If the ground level play is varied for some that donate vs. some that can't afford to or even want to, it will turn off more people than it will bring new people to play in the long run. I am suprised the game continues to be perfectly honest.

You guys realize that "welt" is one of the RICHEST pub players in TW, and he hasn't contributed a dime (he earned all his money himself through playing pub). You can easily, easily, EASILY...(did i mention easiliy?) get a lot of pub bucks without donating. It's just a very SMALL way of saying thank you to the individuals that donated.

Huh? We are hosting events that reward you with pubcash if you win them. You can earn pubcash just by playing pub as 24 was saying.
