Jerome, the forum members overwhelmingly voted to get rid of youtube vids in sigs. Why is it that after everyone else has been kind enough to remove their video sigs you feel you should be able to keep yours?

You think it's a great video and want to share it? Go post it in youtube dump. I doubt anyone would ever clcik that more than once anyways so stop cluttering up the forums.

technically that's my fault.

we did all (collectively) vote to get rid of youtube vids in sigs, however, i was planning on outright removing the ability for youtube bb code tags to be used. this is currently impossible. vbulletin only allows you to have "all or none" meaning you can have all bb codes (the usual ones like bold and italic) plus any custom ones (like yt) or none of them.

so yeah, right now we are on the honor system. people should just remove the vids and link to them if they want. i haven't officially come out and said this was to be done, though. i was hoping to figure out a hack that would allow us to keep all bb codes but yt in sigs.

yes but disallow something else first so jerome can appease his childish inner e-rebel by putting it in his signature right next to the hash tags and youtube video

jason nailed it on the head, i was never aware of the request to remove sigs manually. sorry to dissapoint you guys, it wasn't my childish e-rebel or an overbearing sense of superiority to the rest of you forum peons. i just didn't get the memo. i read jason's post, removed my sig video, and then re-read the thread and now i'm annoyed at these two posts and would probably even put the video back up but that's too much effort.

i wonder what ph will talk about next week on the latest installment of pure hatred's hatred at all costs: the jerome scrubs story

Jerome, I assumed that since you posted multiple times in the Forum Signature Restrictions/Limitations thread you were aware of the general mood. But now that I think about it, you've said before that you don't read the posts in many threads. MB, honest mistake.
