so the twl off-season is pretty much upon us. it's that time for a bunch of new squads to pop up. this is a new thing for me, but i'm gonna try my hand at running a squad.

to start off with, this will be first and foremost a fun, fuck-around squad. yeah, we can play as many twd matches as we feel like, but i don't care about winning or losing. i'm more concerned with building up a solid atmosphere. i want some nice guys who can have a good time and enjoy a good laugh. and that means i'd rather log on and see a chat full of people cracking wise as opposed to listening to guys piss and moan over who gets to play in the next jd.

if i can get a decent group of people together, and things seem to be working, then we'll worry about grabbing up some talent and maybe getting a little more serious.

fyi (and i should have mentioned this initially), the squad won't really be getting off the ground until after the finals tomorrow. there aren't many free agents floating around right now, but i'm sure plenty of folks will be looking for somewhere to hang their hat for the off-season.

so anyone interested, just bear in mind that i'm probably going to do an initial "mass recruit" instead of just adding one or two players at a time in the early going.
