I wouldn't sign on for a TWD match. If I'm not on continuum, I'm doing something else, and the popup would get in my way. Perhaps I would use it if it had other features.

Perhaps, a small built-in IRC with basic commands?

But again, I don't know if I would use it as I have SS open anyway, while being alt tabbed. It doesn't make any sounds, but it does start blinking in my task bar when I get a PM.

Is this notification only if Continuum is running (like mtine is implying), or will it be work if Continuum is not running at all? If it's like Growl notifications, I'm all for it.

This wouldn't be much useful, as we already have the sound notification when there is someone pm'ing u, if u get a msg, if someone is challenging u for a dd etc. But yeah, should be a nice app, so why not give it a shot.

im sure lots of use would love to mute continuum to get rid of the spam beeps...those are just fucking annoying and I myself play without sound (find it better that way). That being said...

a message system would be awesome and would be a great marketing tool for potential gamers looking into SS/TW
