just to add fuel to an already raging inferno

i'm pretty sure i can set it up whereby a person can put tags around text in their post, and the only way to make said text visible is for the post to obtain x number of likes and/or thanks. (we currently have the thanks part of the system disabled because let's face it... most people on these forums are shitheads and they just ain't gonna be doing anything that you're gonna be obliged to thank them for.)

edit: i hate when i end sentences in a grammatically incorrect way. that last sentence should have read: ... gonna be doing anything for which you're gonna be obliged to thank them.

i really dont care about this function, but a simple solution would be to implement a limit of likes/dislikes you can give a day / a week..
