As you guys might have noticed, we started using the Pub DJ radio app in Trench Wars public0. Here are some guidelines on how to set up your winamp or sam broadcast, if you want to host a radio session (only if you are a member of the pubradio team):
1. You need to have a winamp client. Dl it here for free: http://www.winamp.com/
2. Then you need to dl the Soapcast plugin (http://www.shoutcast.com/broadcast-tools) or the SAM Broadcaster (http://www.brothersoft.com/sam-broadcaster-18316.html) or via uTorrent.
3. Sign up at the page http://s4.myradiostream.com.
4. If you are using the Soapcast plugin, follow these guidelines: http://secure.bellonline.co.uk/knowl...ng-Winamp.html. If not, continue to the 5th step.
5. If you are using the SAM Broadcaster, use this guideline: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9sZDioaI2c.
6. When you are set up, tell someone you are going to host, what you are going to host, or just look at the schedule of what you are supposed to host and at which hour.
7. Before you start hosting, you need to set up your macros for the link that you give out to people every 5-10 mins and the macro for music requests.
8. After that you start up the server on the s4.myradiosream.com site and connect in winamp or in the SAM Broadcaster and start hosting and DJ'ing.
9. When you are done, please logout of the server and disconnect the connection so other DJs may host.
