This story is not exact but it's my best memory of the events.

A kid in EverQuest was 20 somthing lived in the U.S, he had family problems and quit school to play EverQuest full time. His guildmaster kicked him from his guild and he was so upset he shot himself in the head. I played everquest for a month then realized how shitty the gameplay was and quit. I played UO for 2 years and did well and was in and out of guilds. People will look at this and say that "playing these games will fuck you up" but the truth is it's not the game it's the person. I did have a hard time quiting UO for awhile though.

If you got nicknames you don't use, but you know other people would like to have. Then why the fuck don't you give them to those people?
You could for instance do ?find silent, and if there is someone with silent34 you might PM this person and ask him how dedicated he is to the game and how much he cares about the number behind his name.
If he thinks it's fucked up and really wish he had the original nick, then what the fuck are you doing with that nick. It's not like it's ever going to be of any use to you, other than exploiting it like you are trying to do now.
