But who made the decision to change this rule

So who made this change and why? Was it posted on tw forums, if so I missed it. For years we never needed this and out of nowhere this is implemented?

I agree, all this pussification of the zone isn't good man. Like when they added "spawn protection" and "lagouts" to elimination arenas and other stupid shit. People need to know that being stupid isn't going to be tolerated.

i thought that was how twlj was set up. the rest was changed to match twlj. its a change i am fine with.

there was an appeal for something fairly recently that caused these to change. i think it was last twdt. there was a close game and instead of getting a +1 while out of base the person was specced with 7 deaths left. the appeal came from the twdtj rules stating that it would be using hte twlj rules. the twlj rules add a +1 not immediate spec. appeal was granted i think? either way twjd and apparently javduel was changed to line up with twlj.

i agree that spawn protection and lagouts are stupid in elim arenas. but i like this +1 better than just a spec. a person doing that completely breaks the game. a single spawn wont break the game.

in other words, chasing people outside of base is still beneficial to you. but, you can no longer fluke an entire game by running one person out of base. get better at spaceships and kill the person instead of just chasing them outside

go to twcore and put in a ticket to start the ball rolling to change it back.

though youd need more support than you have right now id say. well for twlj or twjd anyways. javduel you could probably get changed back if you whined enough.

but youre wanting to know who to whine to. i dont know. i figure the person who could actually do it has better things to do than to be harassed about a change made that, from what i can tell, has been generally well received
