Ever wanted to speak to your friends when being bored at work? Now you can !!

For many months there has been a secret project going. This project would revolutionize Trench Wars as we know it. For many years it's been impossible to allow a 3rd party chat client connect to a SubGame zone like Trench Wars. Only cracking the Continuum encryption could do it, even then only one app could do it.

Now, we have a Trench Wars App loaded on the TW Website that will allow you to connect to the zone SSCU Trench Wars through your FireFox or Chrome browser (IE not supported yet).

There are we few things you must know before you use this.

1) Have Java installed on your computer.
2) Have Chrome or Firefox web browser.
3) You MUST !signup to the bot TWChat in the Trench Wars Zone first.
4) http://www.trenchwars.org/betachat/
4.1) Use your Continuum username/password
4.2) It may take a few second to load the page, the applet is 1mb.

If there are any bugs you see or features you would like to see, please reply to the post with them.

Any abuse of this system including abusement of bugs etc, will not be taking lightly by the developer or players. Consider this a warning before you will be faced with severe consequences in game.

P.S: Because it uses a Java applet, you won't be able to use it on your mobile phone.

just finding bugs. not trying to rip up your work aro. this is tremendous. but bugs are a part of business, as you well know.

whenever you ?go to another arena, all your current chat text resets (some kind of cache flush or something going on here?)

Thx jason, if you are good with css, you can download each file and do your own interface. But you won't have the latest update if I update it. I might add this feature if people really want to customize it.

i could try my hand at some cufon replacement type wizardy and make a wysiwyg type interface. could probably allow for a 8 or 10 choices for fonts. bold and italics and all that, too.

Also, I know you'll probably get round to doing this but could you make it so the chat wraps-around when I resize the window aswell resizing the player-list horizontally (just like alt+tab ss).
