Did you try clearing cache first? if that doesn't work open up CCleaner (google it) and clear everything.

i've spam-refreshed the page countless times and its just not working for me. do i need to port forward anything?
also, fix the facebook thing on the top right of the forums.
Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL http://forums.trenchwars.net/showthr...d=1#post808082 from frame with URL http://www.facebook.com/extern/login...p&locale=en_US. Domains, protocols and ports must match.

also, when inspecting the javascript while it executes, I see this:
debug('Brumal failed to log in. Login timed out.')
line 316 of chat.js
which is an else if statement
} else if (text.indexOf('failed to log in. Login timed out.') != -1) {
$('#login .message').text("Connection to Trench Wars failed!<br/>You may have a firewall on your network.");
$('#login .message').effect('pulsate',{times:4},700);
But I don't see any of those messages.

honestly, i'm guessing (and this is a pretty big stab in the dark) the issue is on your end.
we've had no other users reporting issues with the facebook plugin. you seem to be the only one with (as of yet) unresolved issues with the web chat app.
basic troubleshooting seems to tip the source of the problem to be in your favor.jasonofabitch loves!!!!

the problem's obviously on my end, i just dont know what it is.
also, if you're using chrome, click the wrench icon on the top right, click on tools, then Javascript Console. Let me know if you don't have that error sitting there. It's under the "Elements" tab. Bottom frame.
i dont feel like reinstalling java either

so does this connect directly to TW or is there a server in between? I've forwarded port 80 and ports 5399-5401 and no luck still (and reinstalled java)
clueless.
Java's running it fine. I think there's just an issue connecting in general: http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/7491/lagay.png
