They use it in CS, do you think it would be put to good use in Continuum?

Squads make their own private ones.

hockeyzone uses a program called TeamSpeak (http://www.stiltskins.com/html/modul...op=getit&lid=8).
they plan on introducing play-by-play announcing during league games next season.

having tried it a little bit, it seems that things are a little choppy, but definitely worth checking out. it doesn't really affect your subspace lag at all. and you can set whatever button you want as your "mic activator"... and will work while in-game. i recommend using F12

I kinda came to the conclusion that when I actually need to hear you fuckers it'll be time to quit.

I thought it was great fun when Disoblige used teamspeak. Sucked during matches, but otherwise it was fun.

when i hear the squeeky sound of the voices of my squaddies (yea we tried wilco - some of em i hear on radio) it makes me want to re-evaluate my life and why i'm playing this spaceship game and arguing with prepubesent children.

                        Programs? Lol

I dont know about you guys, but MSN Messenger is quite more popular these days (at least in Canada). And guess what, there is a voice conversation function built-in with that.

Its probably not made for gaming, but if you all use this IM service, it may worth a try.

You all speak swedish too? wow.

Voice comms are very good in team-based games (like Continuum) but then all the players need to have a good connection and good language skills. It also requires alot of practising to make it all smooth. Speaking helps alot, at least when I was at a LAN some months ago and we played continuum it helped very much (coordinating attacks, warning for ugly mines/reps and all kinds of status).

                            agreed bilange

ive tried all the other ones, they suck, msn messenger voice works flawlessly , but only handles two people at a time, the best multi person voice proggie is yahoo messenger, you can even set that one to hands free.
