Queue for wbduel/javduel inside of pub.

Yo! We should put in a queue system inside pub for wbduel/javduel. Such as PM !signup to pubbot, and it puts you in line to play wbduel. Then when 8/10 people signup, it gives you 1 minute warning before it warps you into that part of pub. This will take out the element of not getting picked by a cap if you are new, or even showing up to the arena to have no one show up after the zoner happens.

This will get newer players to experience squad-type games, and there is always a steady stream of players in pub at all times. Just put the !signup system into a bot sitting in pub, make a recurring arena message about how to signup, and BAM. wbduel/javduel going 24/7. There is more than enough space.

If we implement this into pub, the players wont have to learn how to switch arenas. Pub always has at least 10 people playing 24/7, and this will benefit other people who want to play wbduel/javduel too. Also, add pubbux into the mix. Say winning teams gets $200, and mvp gets $300 or something like that. This will be another incentive to get them to play.

This would allow new players to play. Bad idea.

(Realistically not every player will show up to a javduel/wbduel, you stil need to designate a cap to sub-in no-shows, or possibly allow other people to sub themselves in for no-shows)

I like the idea as long as you don't take away ?go javduel/?go wbduel. If you remove those I'll kill you.

@ supreme: I agree. Maybe after you !signup you can !cap if you'd like. Only problem with is there needs to be a way to make sure someone isn't abusing the system by constantly !cap and subbing out players for their friends. Maybe when you !sub, the person getting subbed receives a message "You have 30 seconds to respond to the bot with !here to prove you are not afk."

@ 24: Yea, leave those in place if people want to have a higher skilled game outside of pub. Maybe add in a !signup system in there too to let you know when there are enough people to play. Maybe even lower the pub duel for 2v2 or 3v3 to make it start quicker?

This sounds like a good idea, thus I would prefer leaving ?go wbduel as it is and implementing this into wbduel4. That way, people who play wbduel can go to the first arena, cap and play, while the other newbs from pub can queue up for a game in wbduel4. That way, both parties are satisfied + 24.

No. You're missing the point. This adds a new function into pub, and people won't have to learn how to change arenas. The constant player base in pub will enable a form of wbduel/javduel to be constantly going 24/7. It will be open to pros or newbs alike, and there won't be the problem of newbs not getting picked even if they know how to ?go wbduel.

I get the point, but still, 2 wbduels going on at the same time would be better than 1. If you wanna play wbduel, you either ?go wbduel and try to get in there, or, get in the wbduel queue in pub and get to play when your turn is. That way you get more chance to play a game more often.

Maybe should make it a version where winning team gets a bit pubbux.
And another version where the teams can pay xx pubbux to play for xx times 2 pubbux.
Theres room enough in the arena.

This way new people can see the FUN side of tw TOO in stead of only the boring.

Exactly, as both of you suggested, add pubbucks rewards for winning team and MVP. Maybe even make a king rule: the team that wins stays in and the next 5 people are selected from the queue to challenge them. Might work, might not, worth giving it a try though.

Yes I do.
I'm mainly a dueler, but a good basing game is definitely the most fun to have in this game. It's the basing scene that is mostly struggling to keep active competition going, ?go base could have practically been declared dead years ago. Game needs basers, basing is the goal of pub.
