Not exactly, and I'm not sure why you're ripping on him when you're the one who can't comprehend this simple concept. If you're really this ignorant, you probably shouldn't be criticizing anyone on this forum.

you're saying *objon and *objoff would be used to change the structure of the map. As far as I know, those two commands can only be used to create a visual effect, not for making solid tiles appear or reappear.

The basic idea is that the doors are used as the solid walls instead of regular tiles (so they can be toggled off and on by bot), but to make it "pretty" you display image(s) (using objon/objoff) over the door tiles. The end result makes it appear as though you are turning off/on entire bases with regularly tiled walls. I did this once in EG but only with a mini-base, never on such a grand scale.

The only catch is that it won't look quite right on radar. Either both bases would appear on radar regardless of whether one is turned off or not or you could have the bases not appear on radar at all I suppose. In theory, you should be able to have up to 8 different bases that could be toggled on or off.

I haven't seen this map that Redlights did, but if he pulled it off, it sounds brilliant.

I saw a map that merged old and new pub that Redlights (DNS) created. Whooo it looks awesome. Objon/objoff to switch between maps/doors.

Hah, no it will automatically be done by the bot. It most likely would be based on the amount of players playing.

For example:
If say 20 players were playing (total) - It would use the "Old Map".
If more than that were playing, it would use the "Current Map".

I don't know the actual # of players it will use to determine that; just giving an example.

I'm sure there will be an option to switch it manually for staff on special occasions as well.

You guys could also try to improve the current or the old map and make it more enjoyable for new people. Would love to help you guys out, but am not part of this anymore. Just saying: it's 2012, make new things (also new pub), not old one. But it would be fun to put the old pub on for weekend/special occasions.

yeah, pretty much same deal in EG so it's hard to get an accurate "reading", and seeing how TW is 2x the population, it just makes the polls even less significant I suppose.
