I have made an observation in recent months:
The website 4chan has grown in popularity, and has reached a state of social acceptance such that the average denizen of the internet can admit to having frequented the site. More importantly, this has lead to an increase in the number of occurrences of sarcastic references to 4chan being used as a means of attacking members of other more "reputable" internet discussion boards by implying they are among those who make 4chan their go-to internet harbourage.
Consequently, I propose the following modification of a well known internet "law":
I realize that I may be drawing this conclusion later than some, as I do not have social media site additions to Facebook or Twitter, but none the less it is an appropriate observation.
