Jav'ers...hmmmm

Yes, I agree its not how many jav shots you know, but how you use them. More unique jav shot angles are cool, but what good are they if you are trying to get the right # of ticks (Angles) to make them...

while as you assault the base, you have Jav killers chasing you and your stupid team has no jav defenders. Now can you make a neato jav shot, while a very good WB pilot is after you? I think not... its orange turkey time..heh.... unless unless you happen to be a master jav pilot, but they are rare.


Now onto Ticks.... Is this correct...

Is there 10 ticks per 90 degrees? or is it 9.... hmm...

By using incident angle geometry (like playing pool on the spot snooker shots.... you can find many more different types of shots...

Sometimes I go into a priv arena and play around...

Thanks to Zerzera, he showed me a few cool shots in flag and lower base areas. When he showed me this, I said cool.... some people actually think when they play this game...coool...

I don't profess to be an expert Jav'er... I actually suck, cause the ship is hard to handle.... I love warbird more.....awesome control...

But I respect all jav'ers, they are always needed....

If you train enough you'll get the angles for all kinds of shots automaticly without thinking about them.

Speaking as someone who learned the jav fairly fast, it's not a hard ship. On the defensive point I use 5 shots with regularity and thats all I really need. (i'm talking 5 shots I lineup, and 2 out of those 5 I only use once or twice a game, after that they expect it) Good javs use walls and bricks, not setup into corner, turn 4 ticks, rocket, fire.

yep, the 4 ticks in the middle of lower base...center of barricade.
^I have trouble with this...can get it sometimes..

Also the back up in flagroom and point nose at brick near flag, and fly down.. 1 tick fire thru that gap as you approach the brick.
^this one is way easier

I'm totally skill-less with jav, have to experiment and gain experience.

I have seen awesome Jav pilots, amazed what they can do with it.

I haven't used Javs much, but obviously you wana green up in the increase shrapnel department. And always stick around the base structure...not getting ticked off at some WB in open space and trying to take them on.

But I notice most in lower base area, are sucky dodgers. My WB can snipe the hell out of them with ease. Might I add, terrier vs WB dueling is a joke now.... I don't fall for that silly Terrier wait till you shoot trick that so many fall for. I do once and awhile, but have cut down that method of death.

I will try to give javs more of a try, I like them way better than levys...heh..

the best way to survive this is not to fire..

wait till the terr passes u, turn 90 degrees when the other dude's flashing you with the exhaust pipe, aim, and now fire!
