I'm sure peeps have been banned for names which are offensive before....

So I saw this guy in elim called "Raping Jesus Christ".. clearly offensive to anyone Christian, so I reported it.
- First day I got no response
- Second day I reported it again and was told "Unfortunately staff cannot regulate such a thing since it has nothing to do with racism"

Dumbest thing I ever heard.

Oh, it seems I was banned for my anti-Muslim name. Either staff don't know their own rules, or they apply different ones at different times.

Making fun of Muslims is not racist. Anyone from any race can be a Muslim.

The name was banned as it was deemed to be disruptive to the game for others as covered by rule 12 located in A1 of the pub arena.

Deemed to be disruptive? By whom? Also, how is that disruptive but "Raping Jesus Christ" is not?

I suggest next time you issue a warning. I would have changed the name then. Isn't it policy to issue warnings before banning people?

I don't care anyway, keep the ban, I only played TW occasionally anyway.

actually i dealt with both names as soon as i came online. Unfortunatly 4o is no longer a bang op, so it leaves pretty much me to run everything on my own in terms of bans so yes it does take a little bit longer to get a response. The rules relate to racism, and therefore under the main rule the name is valid. However, i covered people trying to "slip under" with dubious names with rule 12 regarding disrupting gameplay/players. The name was considered disruptive a) due to complaints and b) if you want me to list all your aliases, it seems you have an interest in drawing attention to your yourself. Not hugged enough as a kid or something? Now grow up!
