  • Introducing Trench Wars Support!

    Hey guys!

I'd like to share with you a small project I've been working on in the last couple of weeks.

I've been working on a ticketing system for players to easily access regarding different departments such as Bans/Staff Complaints/Event Suggestions etc.

This is based from the platform of osTicket however it's been modified to suit TW - and yes, the SSC Website uses this when you are placing a ticket regarding a lost username/squad etc - so hopefully some of you have experience using it.

Currently only the Department of 'Bans' will be listed as I'm just working out a few things for the other departments. I've edited the system in order to allow players to include their BanID (if applicable).

The reason for doing this, I believe that using emails isn't a viable way to communicate on a specific subject. With this system, you can lookup the status of your ticket, who's handling it, add a response/check your response and more.

You guys a probably thinking this is a low priority project, however it's a quick thing that I thought could benefit the community.

    So, here's the website! - http://www.trenchwars.org/support

Just click the new ticket and fill out the relevant information!

If you need to check the status of your ticket, just enter your ticket number (this will be emailed to you) and the email address you used and you can check the status of your ticket.

I don't think I've missed anything but if I do I'll inform you guys!

As said, hopefully the other departments will be added soon.

P.S.: Your tickets will be confidential, meaning none will be able to see the ticket without authorization.

Let me know if you have any feedback or have any ideas you'd like to share - I'll be happy to see it!

    Thanks guys!

Let me explain it in leap frog sentences for you.
You submit a ticket. Ticket gets emailed to you. You add notes etc on the ticket. There is no two way communication between the user and the department through email.
Let me know if you need me to explain it more on a lower level for you.

        Thanks!
