Great warriors of the trench,
It has been decided that all applicable in-game zone rules will now be enforced on the forums. This decision did not come easy and is due to our move to steam in the near future. The forum community has always been treated with a different set of guidelines then the in-game community. Most of you don't even play the game anymore or don't even care what the current in-game policy's are and that's fine. However in an effort to make all Trench Wars sites reflect the same rule sets as in-game this was inevitable. So starting this Friday the 24th of May this change will go in effect severe infractions on the forums will lead to in-game ban time most like to be determined only by myself and Demonic as the current bang ops. The current in-game rules are as follows.
1.1 - Cheating, teaching to cheat, or linking to cheats will be accompanied by a ban of extensive
or possibly indefinite, non-negotiable period of time.
1.2 - Exploiting bugs or glitches in the game. The severity and reoccurrence of the exploit will
determine the level of action taken against you
1.3 - Deliberate or excessive team killing. This includes team killing in revenge.
1.4 - Racial vilification, derogatory slurs, or pornography. This includes, but is not restricted to
names, squad names, arena names, and banners.
1.5 - Spamming or excessive verbal harassment in public channels. For other minor instances,
please utilize the ?ignore command or toggle public macros off.
1.6 - The above two rules also apply to the ?help and ?cheater commands. Use ?cheater only
for reporting breaches of these rules. Use ?help only for asking subspace related questions.
1.7 - Manipulating your connection, regardless of how it is done. Refusing to comply with
instructions set by zone staff will result in a forced kick off the zone.
1.8 - Running multiple clients, or using any of which to hunt people from spectator mode.
1.9 - Impersonation of staff members or official TW bots. ie. threatening to ban people, wearing
a staff tag, mimicking bot responses, or creating similar names to that of zone staff or TW bots.
1.10 - Violating event rules in hosted arenas or automated events. Rules and are usually given
in the form of green arena messages. Pay attention to them.
1.11 - Being highly disruptive to the game in any other way than listed above.
1.12 - Staff harassment as to be determined by an smod+
