That last rule has been around for years. Its pretty much used to catch people disrupting things in a way not covered by other rules. Its very rarely used, but its most common use is stopping riots , when people are saying it en masse instead of spamming.

Controversial bans have been handed out time and time again since the 05 era. Corrupt staff/bias rulings/favoritism has been apart of the game since this timeframe. 1 week ban, results in a thread like this? I can understand the frustration, but I can also see it from the staff angle (who take so much time out of their day to revive a game that is inevitably dying, and has been for years).

The veteran population are growing older, not just in ?usage, but with age. They don't have enough spare time/commitment to run a 2d spaceship game. So let the new staff do their thing, or become a member of this new TW council idea - give constructive, level headed, feedback and commit to positive change rather than shooting them all down.

I would hate to see any player who's posted in this thread leave the game.. Particularly tab, b/c she so muscular, and LF because he's been such an influencial member of the community over the years - regardless of what anyone else thinks. (not so much izor because he's clearly a complete and utter fgt to anyone who has eyes).

I agree with zeebu though about 'don't be a shitdick' rule. Tweak the ruling so that it can't be abused so easily? The outcry in this thread alone is all the evidence you need to at least CONSIDER changing the rule a little bit. Or to make harsher punishments for power hungry staff members who abuse .
