    Allow me to document my changes here. I'll update this post as well as post a reply to this thread with future updates. Notice: this is a partial change log. Some things may be removed from this list.


    Trench Wars CHANGE LOG
    (for head of maps / head of dev to document changes)


    [SETTINGS] 9/23/2013 (changes by: KrynetiX)


    • Increased respawn delay in ?go superball (200ms) → Kill:EnterDelay=200


    • Increased number of soccerballs in ?go superball (3) → Soccer:BallCount=3


    • Increased brick alive time in ?go balanceout (30,000ms) → Brick:AliveTime=30000





    [Public Arena] 10/1/2013 (changes by: KrynetiX)


    • Configured, tested and uploaded a new public map - good work by Asmodeus, really emulating Arilou Lalee'lay's original TW base - this base should limit LT dominance, we shall see..


    • Enabled ForceEvenTeams (forces even teams) :P


    • Disabled !buy xradar for all ships except ship 8 (ships 2 and 5 spawn with xradar)


    • LT's can now only !buy from safe zone


    • ?buy FlagSaver can now only be used one time per round per team (so each team can buy one per round)


    • Bot no longer warps players to flagroom at the beginning of each round if the player is in a safety zone


    • Gave Weasel a small Thrust and Rotation upgrade. Will continue to watch Weasel performance and provide it with the necessary upgrades to become a valuable ship once again.

    Then allow levis to !buy when not attached just like you allow terrs to buy with no levis on board, but put a time limit on the amount you can buy just like you had before. Or, if you are going to only allow levis to buy in safe zones, remove the time limit on purchases. I would prefer the first one as I am fond of the levis, but not LT'ing. I prefer to go into base and flag as opposed to flying around harrassing. Needless to say though, by the time you make it into base, you have exhausted all of your repels and warps.

      Good work. I'm surprised that you think LT's and X-Radar are more detrimental to pub basing than, say, anti-warp. You should try !disable'ing anti-warp for a little while and see if there's a difference. When I'm terring for a pub freq and someone uses that stupid "plague" thing (where I can't move), or when someone turns on anti-warp, I literally spec/leave the freq. It ruins terring. If the goal of anti is to paralyze LT's, given that the bot can accurately notify pub freq's when a duo has become an LT (and can properly detect which players they are), is there any way that the anti used can target LT's only? Giving immunity to pub freq terrs who are actually basing? This would clear a lot up IMO.

        Unfortunately we can't disable Anti for some ships and not others.. I will try to find a way to direct antiwarp at LT's and not at basing players. Any ideas let me know.

          reducing the range back to where it used to be is one thing that can be done. Weasels are a fine tool agains antiwarpers if they arent in base, and take no more of a distraction to get rid of than a levi really.
