Weekly Standard Events

The idea is for certain days of the week to be designated for special events that happen once a week, every week indefinitely. Below are just some simple ideas to get the ball rolling:

• Deathmatch Mondays - Free for All Warbird Deathmatch in ?go deathmatch to 10 deaths. Winner gets 10k Bison Dollars
• Wednesday Night Fights - 1v1 or 2v2 Warbird and Javelin tournaments in ?go tourny. Winning team(s) gets 5k Bison Dollars a piece
• Pure Pub Fridays - All day Wednesday, Levis turned off and ship limitations are set to give a pure basing experience and everyone can focus on spending their Bison Dollars.

I don't sign in every day, but I'd show up for a couple of hours to play in these.

I'll make sure to bring this to WillBy's attention, since he would be the one who would organise such things. I do like the idea though.

If players express interest, and do show up, I'd be quite interested in doing this. I'm not entirely sure what the plans for Distension are (they are not finalized yet) but for the other two, definitely. Would more players be interested in seeing this happen?

Regular events yes, also turning some stuff like elim into a "hosted once/twice a day" thing might help getting more players into those arenas and help reviving them to more than a 3 ppl game. But since pub keeps getting used as a lab rat for the most weird ideas already id suggest leaving events out of there until finally a setting that stays is found. Enough pub players are heavily annoyed or leaving already. Also spreading even more pub cash around for people who do not even play pub and just use it for annoy-buys might not be wise. Just think about what pure duelers would feel about pubbers buying bs there after they got some nice basing award.

But if you do host those regular events you might gain some interest by making it a monthly league.
