So today I'm playing I'm contacted by 'shadowknight' about my banner. I posted on the rules thread and I'll post here as well.

So anyways I'm playing elim today. I have my banner on, cause it is just there. It's my John_Adams banner. It is a small picture of 'BREASTS'. The banner is pretty tiny. Anywhoooooo. I've been using this banner since at least 04-05 without issue. I've seen thousands of players, I've played thousands of hours oddly enough. Today, 3 days till Christmas, I am harassed about my banner by this thread owner. What is the deal? It says no posting or linking pornagraphy. It says nothing about my 'ARTISTIC BREASTS' in my banner. It's not like I have a cumshot, or penis, or vagina or something in there (pardon my word use, it was to bring the point home). It is a a tiny set of breasts, not over the top. Heck there is a player in the game named 'PENIZ NAVIDAD', 'penis christmas', I mean come on, 'penis christmas' and I get harassed about my years old banner?? Why are you harassing people who have been playing as long as I have??? Are you trying to shrink the community even more? I come on here to play a 2D spaceship game, not be harassed with some PC shenanigans. That said, we are all adults here. I've said nothing negative to disparage you, I don't even recognize you, I don't know you or wish to know you. Please respond in kind and allow other players to weigh in as well.

Please weigh in. This seems absurd.

And FYI. No ill will towards the 'shadowknight' person. But I play with mods and staff all the time. For years. No one has ever had any reaction besides an occasional 'lol'. I took what shadow was saying as a 'change your banner now or get banned' , for the record that wasn't explicitly said, just implied. I just don't understand. If this really was an issue wouldn't one of the other mods have said something?? I've been playing too long and running the same banner too long to get this type of treatment. I'm a kind player. Nice. I don't say racist or sexist garbage. Never have. There are all kinds of players that do on the regular but I'm targeted about my banner?? I mean.... I am a pick my battles type of guy. There isn't any porn of linking of porn in my banner. It is a pair of breasts. Here in Colorado its not illegal to bare breasts. It isn't in most places. We aren't little kids. I don't have any porn displayed. This is pointless. I logged out after elim ended and won't log back in again until this is resolved.

I remember quite a few boobie banners, who cares god. I personally find banner porn a fallacy. It is art, digital art , with like 50 pixels ffs lol. Not to mention I find nothing offensive about the body or its functions in life. It is no fun to be hunted down by staff and forced to submit to their will over something so trivial. Please focus on cheaters , double squadders , racist and bullying trolls rather than this nonsense. Depending how this plays out for you, we players do have options. A free love banner protest could always take place. :>

That said.

There was no pornography in my banner. I don't mind posting the difference between breasts, or chests, male and female, and male and female genitals.

Again we aren't children, please don't compare a basic set of tits, breasts, boobs, whatever, to porn. There is a difference.

I would like to point out, that regardless of what the rules say, a pair of breasts by themselves, irl or 2-d pixels, is not in ANY way/shape/form pornography, it is part of the natural human form, not sexual in anyway, even if not covered by a brassiere.
Even if someone took a picture of it, or MADE a picture of it (as is this case), then it MIGHT be considered art, but certainly is not porn by any definition.

I also find this laughable considering a certain Basing Teams official squad banner from only about a year ago.

I am aware many countries do not consider it pornography, but that would be ignorant to the laws of other countries where it IS considered porn. There are literally thousands upon thousands of "porn" stars who do nothing but topless, and it's considered porn (albeit softcore porn). We blur it on tv shows, airbrush nipples from magazines. Breasts are a highly sexual organ, even though not part of the reproduictive system.

I count 3 states where boobs would be a problem, in this country (I am assuming you are USA). Canada looks fine as well. Europe is fine as well. We shouldn't be running a Kim Jong-Un standard up in here.

As far as the art thing, technically the banner generator allows you to make/craft/editwithpainttypething your own 'picture'. Thus, the occurrence of, 'art' (ref:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art). (insert sad face) I did not craft this delightful banner, the great Sexual_Robotics did, I try to honor the legacy for all breasts/breast appreciators everywhere.

(On a side note, the jiggly boob and buttock gifs are okay but this isn't??? And this is 'for the kids'??? I think it would be easier to wank it to the gifs than these 2D boobs. My opinion...)

nothing new here john_adams. you having a banner of breasts is the most important thing on staffs agenda right now. doesn't matter if you have been playing this game actively for 10+ years now with that same banner because it is staffs #1 priority to focus on useless shit.
