Pretty sure I banned people for the booby banners when I was mod. There was a big hubbub about it when I did it, too. After a few weeks, everyone forgot about it and the ruling held. Then I logged in the other day and saw like 30 booby banners and it was no big deal. Guess the rules have been lax for a long time, but only get strict when certain mods are on. Gotta be consistent with what you do, fellas. I don't care how it is; either way, just be consistent.

Pretty sure we've played in games together while I had this running. Pretty sure you didn't do that. Considering SSBE has this banner listed on 108 players yet everyone is seeing these 30 or 40 people with the banner is shenanigans. There is 200~ or so people on at any given time anymore. Your telling me a full 1/5 of the population is running the same banner. Gimme a break. It's not 2001 anymore.

Oh and thanks for banning people over stupid BS Kahlan. Great way to keep the game alive, flex those e-muscles... Ya know, less players, lighter server load. It all works out I guess.

I've ran 3 banners in 12 years. Do you realize that, right? A single one (the breast banner) the last 7-8 years. From what I understand I just managed to fly (haha...) under the radar all these years?

its so sad that a guy like john_adams had to actually log on to forums and make a post about this. this guy has been playing this game for years now and has NEVER done anything in violation of the rules and he gets treated like this for a fuking pixelated pic that resembles lasenza's face more than actual breasts. so comical how these things are even an issue. keep wearing the banner john_adams and hope for a permanent ban (highly possible considering the competence of staff) and you never have to play this terribly run game again.

I am aware many countries do not consider it pornography, but that would be ignorant to the laws of other countries where it IS considered porn. There are literally thousands upon thousands of "porn" stars who do nothing but topless, and it's considered porn (albeit softcore porn). We blur it on tv shows, airbrush nipples from magazines. Breasts are a highly sexual organ, even though not part of the reproduictive system.

A woman walking around topless will be arrested for indecent exposure. There are groups trying to change how America views Breasts as porn, but until they succeed, it's still considered porn/indecent. Your banner is not artistic, you can claim so, but it has 0 real artistic value.

If they are so "strict" about it in the USA as you claim, then why do Forty-five states, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands that have laws which specifically allow women to breastfeed in any public or private location?

It obviously isn't the government that views breasts as porn, so I'm not exactly sure whom you're referring to at all. If you're going COMPLETELY by FCC television censorship rules alone (which it feels like you are), maybe we also shouldn't be allowed to swear in the game either since they also censor that on TV as well.

All of my searching has shown that the individual municipalities have the right to decide on the legality of topless women in public.
I messaged lefty this morning so an official zone decision can be worked on regarding the matter. Till then, I won't take any action on it.
