Additionally, with the zone down players may be posting more than normal since this forum represents TW. Some folks might not agree with your conclusion that putting stuff off to another day is the best course of action; they might consider now to be a very good time to discuss some of the zone's direction.
But I understand that the timing might suck for some of the staff and Dev; you have your hands full. That said, some of the others aren't consuming time on this issue and DO have the time to weigh in. So while I understand your frustration I don't think that we should let this time pass with everything put on hold.
Are any of the new elected Council members being used to address the ddos issue? If not then isn't this a good time for them to be starting to get their acts together? And what better situation then for them to make their opinions known on policies such as the publishing of banned players names? My concern is that the Council will never get off the ground. If they do it appear they might get sucked it trying to resolve/fix/improve what the zone does instead of how the zone does things. And this seems to me to be the perfect time to have this discussion and give them the opportunity to make improvements.
