your art is far more important than the content of the text on it at this point

also, keep in mind that only idiots or the uninformed would hear something called "free to win" and still have doubts about microtransactions

Free-to-play is much newer than the pay to play model, and the video game industry is still attempting to determine the best ways to maximize revenue from their games. Like I said, free to pay automatically makes people assume theres going to be microtransactions. Perhaps the slogan "skill isn't for sale, honestly free to play" would work better. On another note, maybe you should read the article before you link it trying to discredit me.

Agreed, it is difficult to explain to the new player that there's absolutely NO MONEY exchanged here. There never has been. There never will be.

Actually, simply keeping it with the to-the-point phrase "100% Free" is enough. It doesn't set any other expectations, and the player will see that it's true once they enter the game.

There should be an advert video of people playing squad matches using teamspeak + show this on steam... this way the game looks way more fun. (there could be a mixture of emotion- laughing/ anger (no swearing)/ very srs/ singing mid game). There should be a very quick scene of winning a game (with emotion) and losing a game (with emotion).... but the team speak involvement would make the game look more appealing for the new generation of gamers.

The advert we have atm is cool, but no-one can see the squad match involvement with have in trench wars (though the advert is of continuum and not just trench wars).
