Also, I have a background in writing, but I'm not going to email azov to get 'permission' to write a glorified TWDT Hot or Not. Also, people bitch too much if they disagree, and no HoN writer ever wants to deal with that. There's a reason so few of us ever did them in the past. Comments should probably be removed from any HoN type posts, assuming you want people to actually do them on a regular basis.

i would be very interested in seeing multiple writers, well, it would be nice to see anyone who isn't as petty as klaushaus doing the writeups. maybe have them divided up into divisions, with a birds hon, jav hon, base hon, etc so one writer doesnt have to cover every single game.

Well, since I'm apparently banned until May (I guess it's for not logging in for over 6 months? lol), I probably won't be doing any HoN write ups.

It does make me question though how someone can be banned that long? That's 4 months from now. Obviously it was a mistake on someone's part, but still.. that's a very long time to ban someone. This game is dead enough as it is before banning people for 6 months or a year or something like that, and it's much, much, much worse when players can't log in for either the first time (brand new players) or for the first time in ages (veterans) due to some BanG Op royally screwing up.

What will happen if the Steam thing happens, and new players try to log into TW and find out that they are banned for 6 months before they even step foot into the game? Do you think they'll come back in that long? Do you think they will send an email to Left_Eye asking for a ban to be removed, when they've literally never played the game before? Do you think they will even know HOW to go on forums and write a post about it even if they were absolutely dead set on playing this 20 year old game?

Think about all that for a second, and then give me one good reason why we have network bans.

League of Legends has crappy bots that play with/against you. Is it possible to get some simple bot to terrier on each side so there's always someone to keep each team in on the action? We have a roof turret, and I've seen people make spider bots years ago who could target, follow and shoot at players.

lol the old deathmatch bots?

coding for them I would guess was still in there, although primarily they were used as a form of dodging DM (bot flies around with super, survive longest etc). It didn't last very long, but I suppose it is adaptable.

currently there's a "turret bot" that warps to ear in terrier, but anyone older than 5mins in TW knows to just camp the bot and shoot anyone who attaches, so having the bot fly around would be a neat idea - the only problem is i think it would be tricky, or a shitload of work, to program a bot that could fly around the FR without being almost unfairly good or terribly bad. but shit, even if the bot terrier flew a pre-programmed route, back and forth, it would still be marginally safer/better than the current ear-terrier-bot.
