      Something that people are forgetting is that pub had a lot to offer back then with squads fighting for most points, best k/d, squadwars in private arenas etc. These days those are pretty much non-existent and I believe it's imperative that new players expand to twd/elim so they can experience more of the community. It's a whole lot more fun to play this game with an active chat, a couple of ss buddies and a desire to win something.

      anyway, thanks to everyone who put the effort in to make this happen. it is not a bad thing that old zones got revived.

        i agree with jones really. i only reason i played this game for so long was because of the community (namely my squad, etc). i got bored of pub pretty quickly, and i'm sure new players will too without anything to aim for

              yea i'm not quite sure why we're making TW pub the most appealing thing about continuum

              what got me interested was the original ?go lasertag. I played that shit for 10 hours a day.

              Definitely had no interest in pub when I first started.

              lasertag
              enigma
              deathmatch
              freezetag
              terrwars
              the World War 3 every weekend or two.
              etc.

              pub didn't stand out to me. those did. i learned to play by those arenas. not some tutorial in pub.

                          Replace pub with wormholes pub- newbies will prefer it... . Only the special nerds who are still somehow addicted to pub hate any changes to pub. They changed the weasle dramatically... I'd say fk it and let's see what impact a decent looking pub map would do? This games going to die anyway, at least try and work on improving things? Start by replacing all the staff who are against change to this game (even if its trial changes)

                                with a limited population and a foreseeable future decline we definitely need to invest in this idea. it would be awesome.
