New Launches with other PC Game Distributers besides Steam

Hey all. So... Steam has helped.. not like we thought but we are still getting many new players each day trying out Subspace through their site. I was just sitting here thinking why not try to do some new launches again with other distributers as a free to play game. I've done a little research and found quite a few sites where we can try. Every bit can help keep the game being seen and in the public eye. The sites I've found are-

There are even more small distributers out there. I'm willing to try and make contact with some of these sites. I really think us being free to play should be a good thing. I hate seeing us continue dying and just thought I'd try and see how people feel about seeking some new platforms to launch on. It certainly wouldn't hurt. Anyone want to help me check out new distributers? These links are just some. Any ideas or thoughts about this idea are welcome. In my opinion the more sites we can be available for download on the better. The work/our package to market is pretty much set up now after Steam so.. its just a matter of doing the door knocking.

I've got an account with GoG.com through which I bought Master of Orion I & II. Strangely enough, I'm getting a lot of ideas from those games on how to build my Empires game. They were the best games ever! GoG is mostly for selling classic dos games though, which, I think they own the rights too.

Awesome Jessup, great work, I'm going to get working on this list over the upcoming weeks.. (I'm in Spain for 2 weeks on Friday so I'll need to gradually work through it). I'll keep you posted.

Ok so.. I've made contact with Gog.com.. I will continue slowly reaching out to other sites. I've just sent our info to gog and they say they will be in touch within 10 business days. Let's see what happens and keep plugging away on this to help spread the game around! I'll be sure to let everyone know what I hear from them when they reply.

hey guys ive reached out to steam. i'm not sure if you guys have heard of that platform, but its pretty massive and has tons of games. even indie games thrive on it. if we get greenlight on steam then i'm pretty sure we will save this game. i'd appreciate any help with this.

hey guys i wanted to give an update. it appears that we are in luck! a representative from steam, named Poid, has contacted me. he has assured me that his track record in launching and completing projects is excellent. we should be greenlight very soon.

Sad and frustrating news on the GOG front .. I got a reply from the business development director . I guess there are still more possibilities out there but this is a setback for my big plans for us sigh..........
