The bot should automatically bench a player for 5 games (that they are attending) if they leave a match before being subbed out. Players like Mitch should just stop showing up, and when they (the players who leave) do show up, people should just stop picking them.

There are enough people with power, and when no one is online to start the bot, don't play. Imagine what the games would be like if some one started it and it was "<racial slur> vs <racial slur>." A staff member would have to come and kill the game, thus defeating the purpose of more power to everyone.

With the limit on amount of spiders in basing, it would limit line ups even more. 5 spid was never considered before the cram became greater then the line. And long before that, 4 spider was never considered as a good basing line up. Things go through cycles, and as you may see, new line ups are occuring now. Pallies play there 1 or 2 spider line up often in ?go base, and others are beginning to do the same. In time things will change, and people will complain about that, all you can do is wait, don't limit something because it is done to often, and is to good.

except that if i lose my connection suddenly, why should i be made to wait 5 games? that doesnt make any sense, punish me for something i can't control.

Maybe if you are a cap, you wish to try some 'fun' combinations ... but maybe to lose 120k-10k isn't very fun for others who happen to be on your team?

Personally I won't be shark or terr for a team with 6 javs or 6 lancastles ... and from my experience, once the team start losing because the cap wants to 'try something new' and the team is losing, people will start to leave. I don't think there is anything wrong with that ... why would 5-6 people do something they do not like to do so the other 2-3 can enjoy the game?

I think, ideally, the caps should be chosen to reflect the will of the majority in ?go base arena. But then again, this could be far fetching *shrug*

You can still use !lagout and come back. And if by connection you mean 56k, you should be benched for life

That's because all bots have ?obscene on, so you cannot message them any words that obscene blocks, yet people would make games like "Vehicle vs Sucks" (who would do such a thing ) and the person on the receiving end of the shit (in this case me) would get offended.

Whatever you say there buddy. The only times I have left a game in the middle like that is when I am tired, and can't deal with the pointless slaughtering of my team due to shitty captains/teammates. I guarantee that you can't tell me that there hasn't been a single game where you absolutely didn't want to continue playing after watching your team repeatedly die and suck for 10 minutes straight. I have probably only walked out on about 3-4 games ever, anyways.
