oh and by the way fur reloaded your post was a pile of shit. the main point was that any ship can defend itself against cloakers.. which is completely untrue if you are playing the game to have a good time. i would prefer to relax when there are no ships around me rather than move evasively so a ship thats probably not even there will not kill me... but he probably will end up killing me anyway cause it aint that hard. and for ships with x-radar besides terrier, the weasel is still annoying as hell. you have two choices: be annoyed as hell because you have to hit x radar every 5 seconds to look for cloakers or be annoyed as hell because the newbs keep killing you. like ive said before, this system works well in any zone but trenchwars. cloakers have the advantage that they can either go unseen and then pop up out of nowhere to fight (and give their opponent ample chance to recover from the suprise) or the cloakers have the advantage that their enemy has a bit slower recharge from the x radar. it evens itself out really damn well. anyways what im saying is that we should not have to deal with a ship we cant fight before it kills us (unless you are devoted enough to remember to hit xradar every 5 seconds).

in response to this people say that it is our terrier's responsibility to protect us. and thats a terrible concept because there is not a competent terrier around in every situation. actually, there is almost never a competent terrier around to protect its team. anyways, who wants to have to rely on one ship to defend it from another?

you also stated that cloakers have disadvantages. yeah, of course they do. i dont care if they have a maximum energy of 1 and the speed of a levi, they are still lame when they kill you because you couldny defend yourself.

anyways, Xies, cloakers, weasels sucks in everyway.

Ok, lets say that we have a weasel in midbase. Helping to defend. So it may kill one enemy, but then it takes to much time to recharge its energy, and in that time i bet the oppsite(enemy) terrier kills "it" while chargin. Ok... then the x, cloaker, weasel respawns ... attaches ... recahrges ... slowly goes out in midbase (if not skilled x) AND maybe kills an other one, and dies.

Ok... lets look it this way... how long are you willing to wait, just to get one single kill? (I'm not saying every1 gets only one) Or lets say several 1-10? I bet you can get 10 kills in hmm 2-5 mins? WITH X/cloaker/weasel/xie/newbieShip. If you are unlucky it will take 10 min's to get 10 kills. (if you are unskilled or unlucky) Is it worth it? Like you could get more kills with a wb or spider or any other ship.

What can i say... X/weasel=newbie ship, annoying, hider, slow, a waste of time if you play with it, most boring ship, lamer then lamecaster (Lancaster), oh yea and its more lamer then the lev thats for sure... Pure fact, the ship blows.

The only cool thing(s) you can do with the x is if you rapidly(fast?) uncloak and cloak. Or if you get your buddies to join in a "x fleet".

And quess what, I killed a guy (paladen :P) several of times, he was wb and I was jav. Then i get this spooky feeling and put on the x radar, ooohh and quess what... His behind be and about to shoot.
