I've yet to meet a newbie pick up a warbird and do semi-well, semi-well is someone consistently getting 15-10 in elim vs. good players(only an example), I want that semi-well newbie on my squad!

Reducing the thrust speed of a WB and the recharge rate would almost make it a faster rotating version of a levi without the goodies. A spider shines in base targeting ships with lower energy and the lancaster shines in areas where the enemies are limited in movement ie. tunnels. Just seems that the current way base is played the lance doesn't perform as well because other ships do this just as well plus have other advantages. Just because a Warbird has an advantage in the open doesn't mean its overpowered or doesn't act as a sniper, it just performs well in that situation. So instead of complaining about it, adapt.

The difference between a new warbird and someone who takes the time to learn how how a warbird reacts is extremely large. Knowing what your opponents energy is at all times, how to shoot faster and conserve energy or even using rocks to propel your bullets at a quicker speed is something I've yet to see a new pilot do.

Of course there are exceptions but it seems like the people who are always complaining about the warbird are the ones who rarely play them or don't have the motivation to become competitive learn the ship and realize its much more than just aiming at your opponent and shooting.

i rarely play wb, but yet i'm still good at it. there's proof that not much skill is needed. i just hate its functionality as compared to what it's supposed to be. but then again, it won't be changed because ships with training wheels are quite popular.

however, a perk of changing the wb would be that randedl would have to learn a real ship. hohoho

I don't think the wb settings should be tampered with, because they help when a wb is surrounded by enemies. I never thought of it as how SG put it (sniper, machine gunner, etc). It was quite an eye-opener to see it in that light (thx SG) and I actually wouldn't mind seeing the jav become a little bit faster. I guess it balances out with the rocket though. Still, a faster jav would make better competition against multiple wb's.

Actually, why get rid of any ship, they all have their pros/cons....

Everyone disses the levies, come on this ship is so damn handicapped... it deserves it few secs of glory.... most of the time this sluggish ship is taking a beaten.

The only ship I couldn't stand, is the Weasel. But luckily, there isn't many of them.... and just an annoyance... but they are an unique ship... got to have them....adds another interesting element to the game.

I fly warbird most of the time but I'll be honest, it serves no real purpose in base. There is nothing you can do in a wb that you cant do in other ships when ur in base.

Is it just me or has the last month or so seen an over abundance of levis? I mean nowadays I usually see like 4 of them trying to green and they all get slaughtered. Most don't even use the levi's advantages (rocket/stealth) they just use port and multi to try and get to base/get 20 bty. If they want to be a levi and get easy kills so bad, why can't they just learn how to use their ship correctly?

A pub without levi for years? I could only dream of such a thing. Cloakers are fine because terr's and javs have X radar, but levis could leave forever and I wouldn't mind at all. Think before you post such a stupid reply ~

Because the lev is stupidly overpowered and can take out about 10 ships by just lobbing a bomb at a random wall.
