Just an idea, but after seeing javs hosted in elim2 (with 500 hrs usage required to play), mabye there' should be regular events hosted with usage requirements. Perhaps even large elim/deathmatch hosted twice daily with 500 usage required.

Lots of people complain about the new players taking over elim, mabye this would keep them semi-happy for a while.

Well then I don't think it can be advertised... can it? I know they can't advertise for ?go base because 60 people come in and only 16 can play.

well, mabye let the players !notify the bot, and it'll pm them whenever those usage events are starting. Come to think of it, that should be implemented in elim and belim too, becaus only some elim games are given zoners =/

Don't waste space like that. Anyway, 500 hours usage isn't going to stop a bunch of newbs. The ones with cable will just go to a priv arena and spec for a week or so, or however long it takes until they have the correct number of hours.

Most people have over 500 usage. The !notify command sounds like a good idea for all elimination games. The 36 hrs in ?go elim is still to low in my opinion but I don't really care. Mr. Arrogant 2 will also kick people idling.

i am the only staffer who hosts the elim2 with 500hr usage and putting it up to 500hrs was my idea, so if u have problems with it sorry but i like at least 1 arena to have some sort of usage requirement. Personally i would have liked it at 1k, but i couldnt see the smods going for it, i was shocked they agreed to the 500hrs usage heh.
Anyways like i said, i am the only one who hosts it, and when i zone for it i state that its 500hrs usage requirement, so there isnt really that much of an excuse heh, with all the Er's we have hosting, 1 mod hosting a usage required arena isnt gonna hurt anyone
