Why do people hate staff????

i dont get it once everyone loved staff and praised them for their work and now a bunch of people hate them..... and i dont really kno what dimboy did to u faggots so what if hes 13????? i mean seriously U were once 18 so stop being immature and grow up a little and actually have a little respect for the staff???? if they werent here none of us would be playing this game........so just lighten up on the whole staff business...... its annoying....

You are kinda leaving yourself open to flamming by making this thread but whatever. People didn't just up and decide one day they hate staff it's always been like that. But not everyone is going to be the same opinion on the subject either good or bad. The majority of people who dislike or hate TW staff from what I have witnessed, have that opinion because of their hiring procedures. I.E. the wrong type of people being considered or given a position.

Even having that stance here can lead people to the wrong conclusion. Some people don't want to be on staff (more like a great number of the community) but don't want to see it's downfall.

Dimboy doesn't always make the right decisions when dealing with people. I don't think people care much for having a 13 year old event ref but it probably doesn't have much to do with a lot of the hate he gets...

People are going to flame staff no matter what. If you can sift through most of the trash talk you can find a little constructive criticism. It's not everyone hates or loves them, I disagree with some of their decisions but if I can do that in a fair and constructive way, then more attention will be put on it.

but than seriously WITHOUT staff there wouldnt be trenchwars .... so if people like trenchwars they should like the staff too ... without staff everyone would be crazy and unorganized .... like i say be4 no bodys perfect.... mods might recruit wrong people and screw up ....but thats no reason to hate staff...

micro, you seem to see things in a very naive way. Personally i havent seen anyone at all say that staff should be destroyed/got rid of. Fair enough there are people in TW who think staff suck but if you asked those people i think you would also find that there are staff members who they respect or talk to as friends. Its not that some people hate staff its that they hate certain staff members, personally i dislike a staff member or two and i think their actions make staff look bad in everyones eyes.

Staff will never be loved by everyone because everyone has enemies in TW and there is always a chance that one of your enemies will be recruited. Just because you hate them does mean other people will.

So all in all i don't know what the fuck i am saying but it generally sounds like:

1) No one is saying staff should be destroyed. People just think there are some total idiots on staff.
2) I really don't see why you think it is necessary to comment, staff don't need you to fight their battles, infact they don't even care if people hate them so don't make an issue out of it.
3) You SOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to be staff

i think that ppl hate staff bc no matter hwat ppl and there irl/ss friends get banned for thigns they did/didnt do or it wasnt done properly...certain ppl get certain privledges bc of "who" they are and who they know...others gets hosed bc they dont know the rite ppl....which in itself is wrong but as long as the zone is ran by ppl (which it should be) and not bots...u will have biased ppl who base a decision on a friendship and/or a persons's name bc they want something blah blah...but hey i guess all we can do is hope it remains where it is and not more biased
