Yeah, I didn't stop saying inuit, and as it is now, I still have not stopped, but that doesn't make me a rebel. It makes me a dude with a macro. I was not out to bring down the hierarchy of trench wars or anything, I was just having fun and laughing at what I felt was funny.

My new macro is "I love inuits; but I killed %killed anyway." In no way can that be considered racist, and I challenge anyone to logically explain to me why it is, if you feel differently.

Think on this for a moment. Racism is also illegal on the TW Forums but no one on TW Forum staff deems calling someone an Inuit an offence ortherwise all of these meaningless posts would of been censored. So what if you call someone an inuit, if i call someone a White fool its not racism according to TW staff rules but if i call someone a black fool i can be banned...and they think it is "us" causing the discrimination.

Once again, there's a little something called "context". Discussing someone using Inuits as a derogatory term and actually using Inuits as a derogatory term are two different things.

Racism is not just a bunch of words. It's the meaning behind the words that matters.

And in case you haven't noticed, that's what the problem was. I'm asking now why are you doing it still? The reason it was wrong before hasn't changed, but now it seems like you're challenging someone to do something about it now.

The reasons are still the same, it is still a running joke, I just edited it so it was not racist. Not challeging anyone to do anything, that would make me a rebel (this is your chance awesome, pounce little boy pounce)

I learned about inuits in school, They're a part of Canadian culture. Okay lets say you changed the situation and replaced the word inuit with cracker would you be banned? no. This ban is silly except you (as in Under Dog) should have stopped when the staff member asked you to stop and then spoke to an upper staff member about the issue. It's like when I use the word nuggins, I mean I know a staff member would like to jump on me for it except it's not a real word and it means damn to me. But this does not excuse the fact that a staff member is banning people for making threats against inuits.

I explained why the original macro is inappropriate in an earlier post. You've changed some of the words around for your new macro, but the reasons the original was racist are still there.

You're still joking about killing Inuits, and you're still calling people Inuits as if that were a negative thing. Throwing in a glib "I love Inuits" in front of it is the only significant change you made but it doesn't change why it's inapproriate in the first place. I think more then anything Under Dog wanted to piss someone off and he succeeded. I guess staff sees it as he was trying to push the envelope to get a response and he got one. Staff has zero tolerance, It's the new attiude that I'm beginning to see. If you're doing something wrong and given past experiences you know that it's wrong then you're accountable for it. People have adapted to the system in the past few years so that they know just how far they can push people. The general assumption is that by not putting up with shit and giving no second chances there will be a change in some players attitudes in the game.

Well, there was a discussion about the macro between the staffmember and vehicle for ages it seemed, and enough warning in it. What started as a joke became and act of rebellion.

no thanks cig.. i'm not interested in joining cripples. and yes i got axed basically cus of this post... zerzera told weaver he was quitting over it and said that he wanted to come on this thread and insult me so he quit, and weaver axed me so that zerzera would come back. i am not gonna make a new thread about it trying to get pity from everyone as the last 10 staffers who've been axed have done, but i'm pretty pissed off at weaver, especially since he was telling me "this isn't my decision, i'm just a puppet for upper staff".. such a coward
