Fandango, using the word is racial, but the context in which it was used was racist. Think about it. He's joking about killing someone because of his race. Imagine if he used the same macro, only instead of "killed an Inuit" he had said "lynched an African American". Would you think the same way about it? It wasn't so much the words that he used but the context.
I can see what you are getting at though. It was incorrect for him to say that and single out a group like that. This was a hard one to distinguish. I didn't think he should have been banned either, (and to any potential critics of mine, that's what I said earlier in this post too) The way Underdog described it, he thought the problem was that he called them stupid, then tried the macro without the word stupid in it, not realizing that that wasn't the problem. If that's what got him the ban beyond the mere warning, then it is an injustice. If however he continued to press the issue or if the problem was explained clearly, then there wold be a problem. From his account though, that wasn't the case.Comment
