Pub 0 seperate scores and recs?

Now that we have a seperate pub for basing, would it not make sense to have the recs and scores seperate also? So we could have a score just for that pub, and then another one for the rest of the pubs...

Yeah, since all the pub scores are saved together, hence the reason that your score in one pub is the same in a different one. It would only work if the Levi-free pub was a subarena, but then it wouldn't automatically put people in there when they connected.

If you wanted an arena separate scoring system, then why even bother doing it with a pub?

If you want an easy way to get what you want though, all you have to do is create a new nick for use in this arena only. So long as you only play on that nick in this arena, your scores will reflect what you asked for.

Either Trolls suggestion, or now that this idea has had some time to get people interested, maybe use ?go purepub again.

As I said, having had a while for people to get knowledge of it & time to play in the arena, if they want to go there then they will.
Maybe it will help lower the amount of TKing javs too?!

Any arena that is meant to be played continuously without any staff interaction generally dies out within 2-3 weeks at the most...

some survive.. and one as popular as GuanoBot pub, might survive... ?go elim, ?go baseelim have been going forever and ?go duel is still somewhat popular, also.. lets not forget about ?go twdd, ?go twjd, ?go twbd which are very popular

Except that ?go basing (in it's second incarnation) was essentially guano pub.

The reason guanopub works is because its not just the "public graduates" who play there, it's newbies and vets and everyone in between. It works because it is a pub where some guy who has never based before will actually be there.

Yeah Public 0 (or whatever pub is at the top), GuanoBot ship-changes you if you change into/enter as a Levi.
