Where do you see TW and Continuum going with this funding

No one wants to donate. I don't want to donate. I wonder what will happen to TW very soon.... imean, priitk is a real sport for paying for the server and everything ever since it moved to the east coast.

If you woke up the next day, and the tw server was red... not for an hour, not for a day, a week, a month, but forever, i wonder where everyone would go.

I'm sure someone will pick Trench Wars up (sscx, ssce, sfss, whoever). So i'm not that worried.

i have a basing map already that i like and have had a server online before, and would consider setting it up again for general public, but its a map that needs a population to be successfull unfortunately, its not a good map for only a few people

Obviously most would find another arena to play in.

But what percentage would go to a Best Buy, Electronic Boutique or someplace and purchase ($20.00+) a game like Battlefield 1942, Wolfenstein, Americas Army...blah blah blah? And then pay for Game Spy so they could monitor all there games they have and play them on the fly from there.

If ya think about it...a donation is not asking for all that much when it could boil down to being part of the SS.

Be it $5 or $100+ for some, every dollar counts and if everyone chipped in a bit then this could be like a Public Broadcasting Channel and ask for donations only once a year to keep such quality programming available for all to enjoy! hehehehe

If your not part of the solution, then you are the problem!

Its too "unmanly" to care about such a 2d game. But i think as much as subspace may only be "a game," the people that play it are real. Otherwise why would they get angry over it? why would they post on these forums? Why the heated rivalries?

yea - its a game, but it also brings together a small community.

As for me:

1: "unmanly" <--is this really a game of sexuality?

2:"why would they get angry over it?" <---do people really get angry from these posts? I find them to be amusing, based upon the amount of hours played, you do get to know the so called "small community" of TW. I guess some people want to express there personalities or at least protray a personality that fits there online character.

3: Heated Rivalries <-----Yes there are these on and offline. Hockey, NFL football and now World Series banter for one. For example: Penn State Sucks!!!! hehehe Sorry Bio.....your Lions kick my lowly Temple Univ. Ass's every year in Football...However we do get revenge on your Lions in Basketball for the most.


When I play pub....it's usually I do my best for the Freq. I am on until I want to go elim or Base. There may just be that soap opera life that live through these SS forums, but hey it's also an outlet for some creative and some non-creative writings.

One more thing Bio....when are you going to give me the URL for your SWiSH work you did....
