Basing League

Teams are a group of 8 people (doesn't matter what squad they are in) and they have matches whenever, like TWD. Anyhow i doubt that would ever happen but it's an idea

So 8 players chose to associate themselves with each other and play competetive matches against other teams of 8 players in a league. How is this different from forming squads and playing in TWBD/TWLB? Doesn't matter what squad they're on, but aren't they just joining another squad? Or are you implying people don't play for the same team all the time, in which case how do you intent do have a league with rankings etc?

You could create your own team roster, you could give your "team" a name, and let me say again, you don't have to be on the same squad.

Why is it so hard for you guys to understand that this isn't a squad, and you don't play against squads. It's just a league where you can get 8 people together from wherever and challenge them against another team of 8 people from wherever.

By me saying give it a name, i was referring to your "how would they rank, etc", you could give your group a name (and no not a squad).

So let's make twbdV2 and instead of having "squads" we will call them "teams" that aren't tied to any database so that it's almost impossible to organize. Sounds like a blast.

Are you saying that you just get a group of 8 people together, play the game, and then disband? If so, that might be a good idea. But if you are talking about making up a group of 8 people and then calling it a "team" and playing with that same team for 4 months or whatever, that doesn't make much sense at all.

I think he was suggesting what Toppy suggested for wbs. minisquads with greatly limited numbers for minitourneys. So I think it would be like a weekend squad, for in between twl.
