Read my post again, you missed the point. Taking away the most powerful ship simply makes another one the most powerful.

This is a illogical solution, since eventually you end up with no ships or weapons that can teamkill. The proper solution addesses player behavior, not ship/weapons behavior.

No worries, I got your point and I was trying to tell you that there is nothing else staff can do to force good behaviour on the players. Bans and ?cheater is the best they can do. People will complain no matter what you do.

I want to say that sharks might be an exception, but that’s open for debate.

I also agree that people sitting in spec is lame. Time-wise, if it’s shorter than the time limit for the ‘safes’, then people will just sit in there. My opinion is that, whatever the limit is, it should be the same for both.

Instead, you choose to go off on some diatribe about whether or not I have ever team-killed or about what I should expect. For your edification, I have never been banned for team-killing (usage 10-98) and only warned once for it. So in answer your statement, no it's not like I have team-killed before. You missed the point, and you are wrong. Additionally, you aren't offering solutions, you are only bitching. Might I recommend the "Trash Talk' or the 'Useless Crap' forums to you.

Understood. Once again, I expect some players to be lame and I am offering a better approach than dicking with the ships/weapons. You keep making my point for me, it's not the ships. Ban's and ?cheaters have proven ineffective, a staff memeber could live in Pub 0 all day and stay busy handing out warnings and bans.
The logical conclusion to your solution is to remove all ship/weapons that are capable of team-killing.

Duh you silly goose, it's called agreeing with you . I can agree with part of your arguement and not another part can't I? Anyway, there is always more than one solution to a problem. The logical one won't work in this scenario. Trench Wars is like life in the fact that yes, there are dicks that just come to ruin someones day. But you have to deal and move on.

Sorry, guess I made an assumption when you said that there isn't anything that can force good behavior. I do feel there are things that can be done to help address this issue (player behavior) but as anyone who has visited Pub 0 lately can see, there is a bunch teamkilling going on without a Lev in sight.
