I always get pissed off when I lagout from elim, and have to wait for next one. Is it possible to create a !lagout command for the robo refs, like in other bots?

i'm guessing it's so that you can't spec to avoid a bullet/bomb and spec as another way to be a "hider".

if your lag is high enough to lag out in elim then its better that your not in there for the rest of the game... sometimes the lag limits EVEN SPEC Z*E*R*0 (occasionally), so when we're lucky enough to see him put in spec, it's good to know he wont be allowed back in.

A !lagout command would ruin elim/belim more then it already is. Speccing to avoid bullets/bombs would become regular. Close this thread now, k thx.

code a piece of bot software that tells the difference between lagging out and speccing, doesn't seem like too difficult of a task to me, and maybe put a 2-3 lagout limit

Even on a cable connection, the occasional spike can occur, and last about two seconds, tops. So what's wrong with a two lagout limit like Blood suggested?

We don't need lagouts. If lagouts are used in elim, people can spec to escape from deaths and !lagout in.

Or, the best alternative - however unlikely - is a SpecBot and LagoutBot, as previously suggested.

That code would suck, if laggers get lagouts, non-laggers should be able to utilze their lagouts too.

Why so mattey? Most laggers don't want to lag as much as they do. And, the lag isn't always an advantage. So why should the non-laggers be allowed to abuse something that is meant to help the laggers disadvantage?
