Good pub players?

knowing me, i like to spec alot, and watch some good players own all the others. anyway, who are some people i should watch when i see em?

Pub is still pub. You could be blind and mentally challenged and "be good" in a pub.

And that's because once you get sick of pub you start to venture into one of the more focused areas (dueling, basing, jding) and get sick of the endless fuck-around that is the TW public arenas. Then again some of them still go back to pub from time to time.

i go to those places all the time, but i still have the most fun in Pub's...dunno why...but its still pretty fun in the pubs for me

Heh, I went from ?go base to pub.
I find pub good for me in shark. You can practise mine layouts, directional+shift mining, repeling mines into enemy etc etc. You can also develop different moves. For example, I can do some javs/wb shots in shark.

What really put me off ?go base was the quality of the games. Sometimes they were complete rubbish. At least if one pub is rubbish, you can find another good one.

Ok back to the subject. Talon and Daze are well known good pubbers. Utoom isn't a bad jav either. Troll King is excellent at sharking, and I enjoy sharking with him in pub (and owning the opposite tema by ourselves, hehe).

Be fun if you could get some pubbers (if they'd agree to do it) together and play some ?go base games now and then, just to see what happens.
It might go well, it might not... but it would make a change from just seeing all the same names day in, day out.

In pub, sharks can do things that they wouldn't dare risk doing in ?go base. It's also where people can show more individual skill as opposed to team skills or relying on a system.
